Melcrum Social Media Workshop this Wednesday #MelcrumSMW

by abisignorelli on November 16, 2009

On Wednesday this week, I’ll be running a workshop for Melcrum on using social media for internal comms. It’s aimed at internal communicators who are considering using social media in the workplace and it will run through tools & techniques, the benefits, allaying fears and will provide tips on setting up social media guidelines for employees.

I’ll be blogging, tweeting, audiobooing, videobooing and even phlogging about the workshop. Just keep an eye on my blog or follow the #MelcrumSMW twitter feed.

And, in the interest of practising what I preach, I’ve also recorded a quick videoboo and audioboo giving a quick overview of the workshop.

I’d love to hear from you if you’re coming to the event. And, if not, but you’d like to comment or have some ideas, then please leave me a note on this blog or drop me a quick tweet.

Good Luck with the workshop, the one person who made "all" of this happen in Virgin Media was you Abi, you pushed over a lot of barriers to make social media happen in the company: My advice to anyone attending is "listen, learn and then go and push barriers over"@johnpc

Thanks so much for your comment John – and great advice on "the barriers" :))
